FIMI (Ισπανία)
The Spanish Fair of Children´s Fashion started out in 1964 as a show within the Toy Fair. Three years later, in 1967, it became an independent monographic fair in its own right. It acquired its international status as the International Fair of Children´s Fashion in 1976, and then in 1978 it incorporated men´s and women´s fashion becoming the International Fashion Fair. Finally, in 1982 the fair changed to its present day status, incorporating young people´s fashion and taking on its current title International Fair of Children´s and Young People´s Fashion (FIMI). The fair grew rapidly from one year to the next, and ever since 1984 it was been held twice a year with an Autumn/Winter season show and a Spring/Summer season show.
